Sungai Amandit adalah sebuah sungai yang mengalir di wilayah Hulu Sungai Selatan di Kalimantan selatan.
Asal nama sungai amandit berawal dari legenda suami istri nelayan yang konon menemukan sebuah Telur Naga sehingga berubah menjadi Naga, Akhirnya terjadi perkelahian pelik antara naga yang asli dan suami-istri nelayan itu, tetapi naga suami-istri tersebut kalah dalam menghadapi pertarungan dengan naga asli disungai Amandit tersebut. Darah dari perkelahiannya yang larut di sungai tersebut mengawali asal legenda sungai Amandit.[1]
