Theaitetos

Theaitetos dari Athena (bahasa Yunani Kuno: Θεαίτητος, translit. Theaítētos; skt. 417 – 368 SM[1]), diduga putra Eufronius dari Athena deme Sounion, merupakan seorang matematikawan Yunani. Kontribusi utamanya adalah ukuran-ukuran irasional, yang termasuk di dalam Buku X dari Euklides Elemen, dan yang tepatnya merupakan lima polihendra cembung biasa.[2] Seorang sahabat Socrates dan Plato, ia adalah tokoh utama di dalam dialog eponimus Socrates Plato.[3]

Kawah Theaetetus di atas bulan dinamakan sama sepertinya.
