Urushi-e

Urushi-e (漆絵 "lukisan pernis") merujuk pada tiga teknik berbeda dalam seni Jepang. Meskipun urushi-e paling terkait dengan balok kayu, istilah urushi-e tidak eksklusif untuk media tersebut. Istilah ini juga dapat merujuk pada gambar yang menggunakan pernis sebagai cat pada objek pernis tiga dimensi;[1] dan lukisan yang menggunakan pernis asli di atas kertas atau terkadang sutra.
