Xantofor

Xantofor adalah sel pigmentasi yang menghasilkan warna kuning.[1] Xantofor merupakan bagian dari kromatofor. Xantofor merupakan sel warna yang berubah secara lambat.[2] Xantofor tersusun atas pteridin dan karotenoid. Selain warna kuning, xantofor juga dapat memberi warna merah atau jingga ke kulit.[3]
