The 2023 Mole Valley District Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect members of Mole Valley District Council in Surrey, England.[3] This would be on the same day as other local elections in England. This was the first election following the redrawing of ward boundaries that resulted in the number of councillors being reduced by two to 39. All positions were contested.[4][5] As a result of the election, the Liberal Democrats increased their majority on the council to 30 out of 39 seats.[4]
The polling station at Headley was criticised by one disabled voter, because of accessibility issues.[6]
The Statement of Persons Nominated, which details the candidates standing in each ward, was released by Mole Valley District Council following the close of nominations on 5 April 2023.[7]
