Toolsvilla is an Indian e-commerce company headquartered in Durgapur, West Bengal. It operates as a digital marketplace for machinery, tools, and equipment across agriculture, dairy, poultry, gardening, and small industrial sectors. The platform connects farmers and small business owners with over 2,000 sellers and offers more than 50,000 products.
Founded by Chetan Khaitan and Varsha Garg Khaitan, Toolsvilla began as a YouTube channel providing educational content on the usage of machinery. In 2022, it transitioned into a full-fledged online marketplace aimed at simplifying the purchasing process and providing guidance before and after purchases.[1] The platform emphasizes informed decision-making, product comparison, and customer support, addressing the lack of options and information historically available to small-scale farmers in India.
As of 2026, Toolsvilla has reportedly served over 300,000 buyers, establishing a growing ecosystem around agricultural and industrial equipment in India.
History
Toolsvilla was founded in 2017 by Chetan Khaitan and Varsha Garg Khaitan.[2] In 2020, Toolsvilla was selected to join the Techstars Farm to Fork accelerator program.[3] Toolsvilla was also listed among India's most innovative B2B marketplace companies.[4]
