Gombak LRT station
Gombak LRT station (previously known as the Terminal PUTRA) is a light rapid transit (LRT) station in the Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the northern terminus of the LRT Kelana Jaya Line. There is a ticket counter for buses to Genting Highlands, with buses departing to the Genting Skyway station every half-hour.[3] These buses are operated by Resorts World Berhad. This station is normally utilised by residents of Kuala Lumpur, especially those living around Setapak area when they are going to Genting. The Gombak toll plaza, the beginning of the East Coast Expressway, is one kilometre north from this station. Currently, this station is the northernmost station in the Rapid KL transport network. PlansUnder the Ninth Malaysia Plan, a transportation hub known as the Gombak Integrated Transportation Terminal (GITT) was planned to cater for express buses coming in from the east coast of Malaysia, similar to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, an integrated hub in Bandar Tasik Selatan.[4] As of 2022, construction has started and will also provide the LRT station with a connection to the future East Coast Rail Link (ECRL).[5][6][7] Connections
