Talk:Functional design

I believe that the term "functional design" encompasses a range larger than that of software. I've heard the term used in relationship to product design as well.

The Critiques and Limits section seems to be directed towards functionally pure design, i.e. declarative or referentially transparent design.

The relationship between functional design, declarative programming, and design focused on the function of things (regardless of beeing declaratively pure or not) needs to be sorted out.
