Why are you removing this link? If Nazism is not associated with anti-Semitism, it would probably be a mess. It is debatable whether Shōwa Statism can be regarded as fascism in a narrow sense, but it cannot be denied that it was a very racist and extreme ideology. Although Japan was an Axis power, unlike Germany, there was no proper reflection on World War II issues.^[1] If Japan had been a country with a mature historical awareness like Germany, the argument that Shōwa Statism is not fascism would never have been mainstream in academia.

And the bigger problem is that attitudes toward Koreans and Jews are so different. While no one says anything about anti-German sentiment among Jews, anti-Semitism is taboo in Germany. However, many people argue about the conflict between South Korea and Japan. South Koreans' antipathy to the Japanese is the same as Jews' antipathy to the Germans. But the animosity is mostly just a very legitimate feeling in historical matters unrelated to racism. On the other hand, Japanese anti-Korean sentiment is just far-right racism, the same as anti-Semitism. It is common knowledge that Nazism is anti-Semitic. But why is Shōwa Statism not anti-Korean? I can bring a source related to anti-Korean of Japanese fascism. This is very terrible racism for Koreans. Koreans should be treated equally as victims of World War II as Jews. Japan is generally to blame in World War II-related disputes, not territorial disputes, and indeed German media and civil society blame Japan. Westerners accuse Trumpism of fascism. Westerners condemn Nazism as a terrible anti-Semitism. But why don't Westerners refer to Abe as a more fascist than Trump? Isn't it true that Japanese war crimes are clearly based on anti-Korean racism? What sources should I bring? Should I bring war crimes against Koreans in Japan during the Shōwa Statism era? Europeans call war crimes against anti-Semitism (anti-Jews). Change 'Jewish' to 'Korean' here. Of course, this may be WP:SYNTH, but it is clear that Koreans are not treated the same as Jews victims of World War II as of 2023. Let me give you an example. Let's say I kidnapped the Japanese today, forced them to work, tortured them, raped them, and turned some Japanese into sexual slaverys. It will be a news story internationally. And the case will be categorized in Wikipedia as "South Korea's anti-Japanese sentiment". Of course I would never do such a terrible thing, but Japan's war crimes are clearly based on Shōwa Statism, and what the Japanese did to Koreans is what I'm talking about now. It is clearly "Anti-Korean sentiment in Japan". Of course I would never do such a terrible thing; that's... um... "good",... I guess (albeit a disquietingly explicit fantasy; even in the apophasis). But this type of thought experiment is exactly what we don't do to build content which aligns with our core policies. Personal predilections (or the absence thereof) and original research aren't reliable; nor are Talk page posts which might be better placed on an Internet forum. More source, less argumentum. Robert Paxton did not see Francoism and Showa as fascism. But in Francoist-related template, the fascist category is in use. However, many scholars view Showa statism as fascism, and the removal of the fascist category is not fair to Francoist-related template.
