Hello BigLord! I noticed that in this series of edits, you added a whole bunch of {{citation needed}} tags. I feel that a lot of these aren't appropriate since not every single little thing needs a citation. For example, you have a CN tag after "He is Mario's yellow-and-purple clad arch-rival." for Wario. You do not need a citation here as him wearing yellow and purple is evident just from the image. Arch-rival might have needed a reference, but I don't think it was really appropriate to add citation needed tags. However, some of the things you tagged can be seen by playing the games themself, in which a citation isn't required as the game itself is the citation. I'm not saying the entire list doesn't need citations because not everything is easily seen in the games. Hey thanks for starting those phase drafts. It's been on the very back burner for me for a while now to look at the main music page. I do agree it is too big and in need of a restructure. I don't know if that's necessarily splitting off content by phase, or just a top down reimagining of what the music article is and what info we have on it. In my opinion, splitting them in phases it's the best option because there are a lot of content/sources to be used for each phase. The reception might need to be rewritten per WP:Reception + there are still other sources that can be used like [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] and there has to more also like merchandises. • The Lead looks complete and good.
• The Concept and Creation section needs some more material to cover every important subject.
• The Appearance section, in my opinion, is the strongest one. I think it covers every important title Yoshi appears, but It could have some rewrite to not look like a list in some parts.
• The Merchandise section looks good, but can have more material.
• My biggest concern is the Critical Reception section, I don't know how to get more sources to fullfill the section.
• The Legacy section looks really strong, but we have more sources to add to it.

Boneless Pizza! gave one source to add to Critical Reception section, one to add to Concept and Creation section and the rest to add to Legacy section. For clean up and grammar issues, you can request through Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Requests but it will take months for your request to be granted. -I'd say concept and creation could potentially do with some additional info from later games? Given Yoshi's significant role in many games (As well as kickstarting his own series) I would imagine there's likely some developer interviews out and about regarding them. I'd try searching in regards to particular games and see what you can turn up. I'd also suggest digging through some Mario fan wikis, since they sometimes cite official interviews in their articles that may be worth citing (The interviews, not the articles I mean).

-Merchandise likely needs some new sourcing (What is the reliability of Toymania? I am unfamiliar with it) especially since at present it's currently lopsided to focus on the Wooly World amiibo. I'd try to find more information on Yoshi merch if possible.

-I can do a dig for reception and legacy but yeah this definitely needs the most expansion overall. Compare it to what Donkey Kong (character) has, as an example. Much of the reception is largely weak sources or list rankings which aren't exactly strong coverage of Yoshi's overall impact. I would suggest finding articles talking about the character's importance, impact, and legacy in a significant manner that is focused entirely on Yoshi. Perhaps dig through Google Books and Google Scholar, and check through the Internet Archive's magazine archives, which likely contain some old gaming magazines with info (This should also apply for the above two sections).

Let me know if there's anything more specific I can give advice on here. This is a pretty big first undertaking so I'll help where I can on gathering reception (Probably the biggest and most difficult part of an article like this tbh). Will likely try doing this over the course of the next week or so since the next few days are fairly busy for me unfortunately.
