• A request for comment about removing administrative privileges in specified situations is open for feedback.

Technical news

• Progress has started on the Page Triage improvement project. This is to address the concerns raised by the community in their 2022 WMF letter that requested improvements be made to the tool.

Arbitration

• The proposed decision in the World War II and the history of Jews in Poland case is expected 11 May 2023.

Miscellaneous

• The Wikimedia Foundation annual plan 2023-2024 draft is open for comment and input through May 19. The final plan will be published in July 2023.

The page I blanked and redirected is/can be covered entirely by its Wiktionary entry; this is why I blanked it, the page is unnecessary. Another user already did the same thing and had their edit reverted. I believe it should just be a redirect. SurferSquall (talk) 18:01, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

Hello, cheers for the message. I am not sure you have the right person as I do not edit outside of my own account. Unless I have somehow been logged out on a device and have edited something then it is not me. Do you have the edit history for this IP address, I soley edit rugby league articles, and almost certainly only ones to do with the Newcastle Knights. I have just had a look at my watch list and I can see the IP address you're talking about which is editing dates on Newcastle Knights player articles. Again, I have to reiterate that this is not me and I'm not sure how that has been concluded. I do not have any reason to edit outside of this account and a mistake has been made here. I live in the Newcastle area and perhaps someone that is editing Newcastle player articles is in a similar location to me, but it isn't me. Josh the newcastle fan (talk) 08:48, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

@Josh the newcastle fan The reason I associated you with the IP is because the IPs that edited similar articles to you seemed to be from the same range. Additionally, I ran a WHOIS check on two of the IPs, and both were from New South Wales, which you have stated on your user page you are from. If it's not you and just happens to be an extreme coincidence, it's OK. interstatefive  22:25, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

Hey, I just undid your reversion that you made to "Vegetables" bc of me removing content without explanation

My unexplained content removal was me removing something I myself had added earlier because I formatted the source for that addition wrong. I should've just left a note explaining that's what I was doing to avoid confusion for other editors, that's on me. Hartcanyon (talk) 04:25, 23 May 2023 (UTC)

• Now is the time to start writing those Christmas cards and do the Christmas shopping! Come December, you can sit back and edit Wikipedia! ;)
• When it snows in December/Winter, stock up the snow in your freezer, so when it gets hot you can do a snowball fight in the summer!

• A conversation with trustees event took place on the 18th of May. You can read more details on the event here!
• On the English Wikipedia some RFAs which took place the past few months. You can see the full details at the RFA main page.
• There is a event (Conference) that is taking place in city of Belgrade. More details on the event can be found by clicking on the link!
