Hi, I undid your edit for Chetnik War Crimes as it seems you may have inadvertently removed a bunch of sourced content. I assume your aim was to remove the Genocide Bar however looking now, it seems only recently all listed genocides were removed from it and an edit war is taking place. I see on its talk page a call for an RFC is requested so perhaps it is best to wait for the final stable version? Until then, I think Bosnian Genocide, Genocide of Serbs in Independence State of Croatia, and Chetnik War Crimes During WWII and so on should still keep that side bar until editors make up their mind over the bar’s format. Otherwise it will just go back and forth for all these articles on a given day. Cheers. That user wasn’t edit warring there it seems. They added it to the other articles I mentioned on the same day as well. I don’t think timing makes a difference. As for edit waring recently it appears to be a number of different other users. It appears the long standing version of the bar listed all the various genocide articles. The latest version isn’t the stable once, hence why I suggested we wait for the RFC results when consus is reached there? Otherwise should the bar be removed from all articles no longer listed? If you did this because the references should be removed from the article, you have misunderstood the situation. Most likely, the article originally contained both <ref name="foo">...</ref> and one or more <ref name="foo"/> referring to it. Someone then removed the <ref name="foo">...</ref> but left the <ref name="foo"/>, which results in a big red error in the article. I replaced one of the remaining <ref name="foo"/> with a copy of the <ref name="foo">...</ref>; I did not re-insert the reference to where it was deleted, I just replaced one of the remaining instances. What you need to do to fix it is to make sure you remove all instances of the named reference so as to not leave any big red error.
If you reverted because I made an actual mistake, please be sure to also correct any reference errors in the page so I won't come back and make the same mistake again. Also, please post an error report at User talk:AnomieBOT so my operator can fix me! Thanks for the response Vanja. I don't know if you have an older revision of WP:DENY in mind (I didn't check earlier ones), but the only relevant text I see is the following:
In general, "socktags" on blocked sockpuppets' user pages should only be added, removed, or modified by administrators or sockpuppet investigations clerks.
The relevant template {{sockpuppet}} gives the same reasonable guideline:
Usage: In general, this template should only be applied by Administrators or Clerks as part of the Sockpuppet investigations process.
Regardless of that, even if the former did suggest cases which would deem the use of the aforementioned template unnecessary, shouldn't the common established procedures presented in WP:SPI/AI take precedence over an essay such as WP:DENY? To be honest, I thought it was a given to tag the userpages of indefinitely blocked sockpuppets, which also adds them to the – certainly useful for future investigations – "confirmed" and "suspected" categories.
On another note, shouldn't the remaining text from the already closed and archived 17 September 2024 case in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/GJOLEKA, be either deleted or archived appropriately? It appears that it was unnecessarily copied from the Wikipedia talk namespace to the Wikipedia namespace (diff).

@UtherSRG: I archived the closed investigation, I didn't "merge" anything. I see it was not necessary as tho whole case needs to be merged anyway. The merge has still not been done. What exactly is the problem? Yes, you are right. But, some previous investigations were already archived before my archival. So, the archive needs to be merged too anyway.
