@Kilbosh: When I originally wrote the article in 2017 I included both since I found sources describing the figure as either Fortitude or Valour. Hi Xwejnusgozo, the reason I deleted the ref to Malta's stamps is that many Falmouth packets stopped at Malta over the years, as well as Gibraltar, and Smyrna, and also Lisbon, Cadiz, Halifax, New York, Bermuda, Jamaica, Suriname, Demerara, Rio, Bahia, and numerous other ports. The connection is just too minor. Now if Malta would issue some stamps celebrating the packet service, that would be a great addition to the page on the Post Office Packet Service and any ships featured. On another matter: I visited Malta for a conference in 2007 and spent a couple of extra days visiting parts of the island and Gozo. (When I got back I worked on articles about the towers, the 100-ton gun, and the like.) I also bought a set of four toy soldiers representing the KOMR. (I collect toy soldiers.) Apparently the manufacturer (Degree Miniatures, of Valetta), is still in business. I think photos of his toy soldiers would be great, colorful additions to the articles on the Fencibles, KOMR, etc. It would also give him some quiet advertising. Just a thought. Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

NPP Technical Achievement Award
