Wikipedia meetups are opportunities to make friends with other Wikipedians, discuss Wikipedia-related topics, and exchange knowledge and experiences from the universe that is Wikipedia – an online collaboration by millions of users around the world. This page is intended to coordinate gatherings in Asheville, North Carolina. If you are interested in Wikipedia or other Wikimedia projects, regardless of your your level of experience or involvement, you are invited and welcome.

Saturday, March 28, 2020 11am-5pm Art + Feminism Edit-a-thon hosted at Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center (120 College Street, off Pack Square Park, downtown Asheville).(This was changed to a virtual event due to COVID-19.)
Tuesday, March 31, 2020 1pm-7pm - Women's History Month Wikipedia Edit-a-thon hosted by the North Carolina Room at Pack Memorial Library. Facebook page is here.(This was cancelled due to COVID-19.)
Western North Carolina's first ever Oral History Record-and-Edit-a-thon Saturday, Sept 1st from 1pm-5pm at Habitat Tavern & Commons, 174 Broadway Street, Asheville, North Carolina 28801, with the Baird-Beard Reunion, University of North Carolina at Asheville, AfroCrowd, and the Asheville-Buncombe County African American Historical Society in Asheville, North Carolina.
