Took place: Saturday 1st August — 15:00 onwards

Location: CB2 cybercafé, Norfolk St, Cambridge, CB1 2LD UK

Confirmed as 3 to 6 pm, at CB2 Internet Bistro, Norfolk Street, Cambridge, as before. Charles Matthews (talk) 11:36, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Past meetups at CB2: 1 and 2. Map; CB2 serves drinks, snacks and meals and has almost reliable wi-fi. We may go to dinner in a pub afterwards.

Came to the meetup

Three hours of wide-ranging conversation in CB2 were followed by a walk to Gwydir Street and ... three hours of wide-ranging conversation in the Cambridge Blue.

Older discussion

Proposal: Saturday 25 July, afternoon at CB2 cybercafé, where we were for the first and the second. Do we want to have anything more structured?

I couldn't manage the week before, so my alternative to this would be 11 July. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:14, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Provisionally sounds okay for me. Just want to see what's going on with my girlfriend and her work. — Werdna • talk 11:50, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to come, but the weekend of 25th is bad for me, any other weekend would be good (until Wikimania) --rainman (talk) 12:47, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I should be able to manage Sat 25th July afternoon. (Can't manage 18th/19th.) Dsp13 (talk) 12:36, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is a London meetup on 12 July (Wikipedia:Meetup/London 23) so that later in the month is really better from that point of view. Charles Matthews (talk) 20:36, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, as far as I am concerned we could do it this weekend or the next. --rainman (talk) 22:27, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Unlikely I could manage any of the Saturdays in July, unfortunately.Dsp13 (talk) 15:02, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can't do the 18th, but would be happy with 11th (I'm not going to the London one) or 25th. the wub "?!" 08:58, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure you could do without me, but a meeting on the 18th would need someone organising, and currently we have no one. Charles Matthews (talk) 21:55, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What about the 1st/2nd August?
James F. (talk) 08:59, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Saturday 1st August seems a more acceptable date. Charles Matthews (talk) 12:40, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So what time would that be? Terry0051 (talk) 20:58, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'll be in the other place on Saturday (son's graduation) - have fun. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 11:17, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
