Murray Roth, né le dans l'État de New York et mort le à Hollywood en Californie, est un écrivain et réalisateur américain.
Biographie
Murray Roth a été scénariste pour le producteur et réalisateur Bryan Foy, et à la fin des années 1920 il commence à réaliser quelques courts-métrages à Brooklyn[1]. Il avait auparavant écrit des chansons pour des spectacles de Broadway[2]. Il réalise plusieurs courts-métrages pour Vitaphone. Il a aussi écrit les paroles de la première chanson publiée par George Gershwin, When You Want 'Em, You Can't Get 'Em[3].
Il meurt à Hollywood à l'âge de 44 ans[4].
