Shap Rural est une paroisse civile de Cumbria, située dans le nord-ouest de l'Angleterre. Elle a une population de 130 habitants d'après le recensement de 2011^[1].

Elle a été fondée en 1904, lorsque la paroisse civile de Shap a été divisée en deux : une partie urbaine, qui devient Shap Urban (renommée Shap en 1935^[2]), et une partie rurale, qui devient Shap Rural^[3].
