Ball of Fire adalah sebuah film komedi screwball Amerika tahun 1941 yang disutradarai oleh Howard Hawks dan dibintangi oleh Gary Cooper dan Barbara Stanwyck. Film Samuel Goldwyn Productions tersebut (aslinya didistribusikan oleh RKO) mengisahkan sekelompok profesor yang ditugaskan untuk menulis sebuah ensiklopedia dan pertemuan mereka dengan seorang pementas klub malam yang menyediakan pengetahuan uniknya sendiri.
Para pemeran pendukungnya meliputi Oskar Homolka, S. Z. Sakall, Henry Travers, Richard Haydn, Dana Andrews, dan Dan Duryea. Pada 1948, alurnya didaur ulang untuk sebuah film musikal, A Song Is Born, kali ini dibintangi oleh Danny Kaye dan Virginia Mayo. Film tersebut juga dikenal sebagai The Professor and the Burlesque Queen. Pada tahun 2016, film tersebut terpilih untuk penyajian dalam Pendaftaran Film Nasional Amerika Serikat oleh Perpustakaan Kongres karena "signifikan secara budaya, sejarah, atau aestetik."[2]
