EISCAT
EISCAT adalah sebuah singkatan untuk European Incoherent Scatter Scientific Association. Maskapai ini mengoperasikan tiga sistem pencar radar koheren, pada 224 MHz, 931 MHz di Northern Skandinavia dan satu di 500 MHz di Svalbard, digunakan untuk mempelajari interaksi antara Matahari dan Bumi seperti diungkapkan oleh gangguan di ionosfer dan magnetosfer. Di fasilitas Ramfjordmoen (dekat Tromsø, Norwegia), itu juga mengoperasikan fasilitas pemanas ionosfir.
