Generasi Bisu Tuli adalah kelompok demografi menyusul Generasi Terbesar dan mendahului Baby Boomers. Generasi Bisu umumnya diartikan sebagai orang-orang yang lahir dari 1928 sampai 1945.[1] Menurut definisi tersebut dan data sensus Amerika Serikat, terdapat 23 juta orang dari Generasi Bisu di Amerika Serikat pada 2019.[2]

Di Amerika Serikat, generasi tersebut terbilang kecil karena Depresi Besar pada 1930-an dan Perang Dunia II pada awal sampai pertengahan 1940-an yang menyebabkan orang-orang memiliki jumlah anak yang lebih sedikit.[3] Generasi tersebut meliputi sebagian besar orang yang berjuang pada Perang Korea. Setelah mencapai usia pada 1950-an, mereka dikenal karena membentuk kepemimpinan gerakan hak sipil serta terdiri dari "mayoritas bisu"[4] dan menciptakan musik rock and roll pada 1950-an dan 1960-an.[5]
