Herald Square dibentuk oleh persimpangan Broadway, Sixth Avenue (nama resminya Avenue of the Americas) dan 34th Street di borough Manhattan, New York City. Mengambil namanya dari New York Herald, sebuah surat kabar yang dulu pernah berkantor pusat di sana, alun-alun ini turut memberi permukiman sekitarnya nama yang sama. Persimpangan ini adalah alun-alun ujung dasi biasa di Manhattan yang terdiri dari dua bagian: Herald Square di utara (hulu kota) dan Greeley Square di selatan (hilir kota). Sebagian warga non-New York mengenalnya dari lagu Give My Regards to Broadway ketika si penyanyi berkata "remember me to Herald Square", atau dari lokasi Herald Square sebagai ujung jalur parade Macy's Thanksgiving Day yang disiarkan ke seluruh AS setiap tahunnya oleh NBC-TV.
