Retaria adalah sebuah klad yang berada pada supergrup Rhizaria, yang mencakup Foraminifera dan Radiolaria.[1] Pada 2019, Retaria diakui sebagai sebuah kelompok Rhizaria basal, sebagai takson saudari dari Cercozoa.[2]
