Pre-season and friendlies

On 23 May, Walsall announced their first pre-season friendly, against Solihull Moors.[46] Two further matches were added on June 2, against Leamington and Aston Villa.[47] In memory of Wayne Evans, a pre-season fixture against Rochdale was added.[48]
