Biologist and MSc in Biodiversity from Madrid, Spain; currently in Canada working on my PhD on protists. Seeking to expand the public availability of scientific knowledge. Founder of WikiProject Protista (all are welcome!). My main interests revolve around the evolution and biodiversity of protists and other organisms.
What I am doing
My current projects are:
- Improving articles on the deep evolution of eukaryotes, e.g., Diaphoretickes (now GA).
- Developing Glossary of protistology (since 11 May)
- Improving Algae (since 13 May)
- Maintaining Protist classification (since 2022)

A list of all the articles I've either created or overhauled (i.e. given major improvements to, to the point where the majority of text/edits are mine), in order of article quality.

| Microbiology barnstar – For your absolutely amazing work at WikiProject Protista. I'm normally hanging around WikiProject Insects and WP:GA, and came across your work browsing the backlong. For an editor who's only been around for two years or so, you're work is amazing quality. Keep it up!!! |
| The Tree of Life Barnstar – For your first GA review, and another successful promotion with Parvilucifera, congratulations! Thank you for your continued hard work in improving the quality of diverse organisms on Wikipedia. —Fritzmann (message me) 19:29, 4 April 2024 (UTC) |

The Bio-star – I would like to present this award for your extensive editing of protistology articles, including the recently created Glossary of protistology. Many thanks. I wish you much enthusiasm for further editing. —Petr Karel (talk) 09:09, 12 March 2026 (UTC) |

Rabbit holes
This is a collection of curious Wikipedia rabbit holes I've found myself reading through.
- User:JzG/charlatans → Wikipedia:Lunatic charlatans → Wikipedia:Complete bollocks → User:Geogre — A user that stopped editing ages ago, before I was old enough to be self-aware. They have since allowed their userpage to be a gallery of poems by people who either appreciate or criticize them. Even disregarding those, it's simply an interesting reading experience into a world before the Wikipedia that I know and love today, full of early internet philosophy and English eccentricity. This person was referenced by others in essays and was clearly somewhat of a niche wiki-celebrity. (16 August 2025)
