Kucing totol (Prionailurus rubiginosus) adalah anggota terkecil keluarga kucing dan hanya ditemukan di India dan Sri Lanka.[3] Telah terdaftar sebagai Rentan oleh IUCN tahun 2002 sebagai ukuran total populasi efektif adalah di bawah 10.000 individu dewasa, dengan kecenderungan menurun karena kehilangan habitat, dan tidak ada subpopulasi mengandung lebih dari 1.000 dewasa.[2]
