Kinclaith var et Lowland single malt skotsk whisky-destilleri i Glasgow, Skotland.

Historie

Kinclaith blev opført af Strathclyde & Long John Distilleries Ltd. inden for Strathclyde distillery-komplekset i 1958.[1][2]

Kinclaith lukkede i 1975 efter at være blevet solgt til Whitbread & Co., et selskab der senere blev solgt til Allied Domecq.[3]

Efter lukningen af destillationsapparatet er de tilbageværende lagre, både fadlagrede og aftappede, blevet sjældne, hvilket har gjort dem mere samlerværdige og har øget deres værdi betydeligt.[4]

Mærket ejes i dag af Chivas Brothers.[5]
