Parkmore er et inaktivt Speyside single malt skotsk whisky-destilleri i Dufftown, Moray, Skotland.[1]

Historie

Parkmore blev grundlagt i 1894 af Parkmore Distillery Co., men ejerskabet blev overført til James Watson and Co. Ltd. i 1900.[2]

Dette selskab blev derefter opkøbt af John Dewar & Sons Ltd. i 1923. I 1925 blev ejerskabet igen overført, denne gang til Distillers Company Ltd. DCL overførte destilleriet til Scottish Malt Distilleries Ltd. i 1930 og stoppede produktionen i 1931.[3]

Parkmore blev endeligt lukket i 1988.[1] Samme år blev Parkmore destilleri solgt til Highland Distillers, og bygningerne blev omdannet til et whiskylager.[4]

I 1999 opkøbte Edrington Highland Distillers, som ejede Parkmore, gennem et partnerskab med William Grant & Sons, der tog en minoritetsandel (The 1887 Company).[5]
