Ayam kodok adalah ayam panggang dan isi khas Indonesia, umumnya disajikan sebagai hidangan pokok saat Natal dan acara-acara khusus lainnya.[1] Hidangan ini berasal dari era kolonial, kemungkinan terkait dengan gevulde kip, hidangan ayam isi khas Belanda.[1]
Penyajian
Pembuatan ayam kodok dilakukan dengan cara mengeluarkan tulang dari ayam, kemudian diisi dengan daging ayam giling, sapi atau babi, rempah-rempah, sayur-sayuran, dan telur rebus.[2] Ayam kemudian dikukus sebelum dipanggang.[2]
